HONDA CITY HISTORY


The first generation Honda City is a subcompact car produced by the Japanese manufacturer Honda since 1981 until now, also known as the Honda Fit Aria in Japan. In 2011, the City also sold as Honda Ballade in South Africa. At the time of its introduction, honda city is Honda's smallest car. 
Honda City Turbo was introduced in September 1982 It is powered by a turbocharged version of the 1231 cc Honda ER. Production ended in 1986 with the introduction of GA City 
When the first-generation Honda City was launched in 1998, it came as a vehicle that focuses primarily on fuel efficiency and a cheaper price tag. Honda's new six-speed gearbox is smooth, slotting gears with precision. Honda City has improved NVH levels and do a decent job.
