HONDA CITY HISTORY

The first generation Honda City is a subcompact car produced by the Japanese manufacturer Honda since 1981 until now, also known as the Honda Fit Aria in Japan. In 2011, the City also sold as Honda Ballade in South Africa. At the time of its introduction, honda city is Honda's smallest car.
Honda City Turbo was introduced in September 1982 It is powered by a turbocharged version of the 1231 cc Honda ER. Production ended in 1986 with the introduction of GA City
When the first-generation Honda City was launched in 1998, it came as a vehicle that focuses primarily on fuel efficiency and a cheaper price tag. Honda's new six-speed gearbox is smooth, slotting gears with precision. Honda City has improved NVH levels and do a decent job.

Most exotic police cars of the season

As you can see, up top is an Ariel Atom 3.5R that’s wearing the deep blue and Day-Glo yellow livery. Fitted with functional Hella lamps, siren and rescue equipment, the 350bhp, 612kg Atom, with its 2.5s 0-100kph time, can pretty much tear any speeding criminal to shreds.

Simply because it’s been lent to the coppers by Ariel for the Somerset Road Safety event, meant to promote safe driving. Elsewhere, the Italian police force is no stranger to public-service Lamborghinis. To describe Dubai’s cop car expenditure as “extravagant” would be putting it rather mildly. It’s like a multiple oil field-owning, Dirham-splashing Arab’s garage (which it is, actually). Take a look at the list: Ferrari FF, Mercedes SLS AMG, Nissan GT-R, Aston Martin One-77, Brabus B63S Widestar, Lamborghini Aventador, Audi R8V10, McLaren 12C, and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. The idea is to use them all as patrol cars in posh localities as a show of muscle, and to make the cops look more approachable

mini coupe countryman all new five-door mini hatchback

mini’s been doing this for quite some time now. All of its new products are growing in size with every passing generation, and newer, even bigger cars are being introduced. The Countryman (which isn’t really a Mini, more like a Mega)is a key offering, and even the new… erm, new Mini, isn’t as small as it used to be.Guess what. There’s another not-somini Mini. And it’s called the 5-door Mini. Pretty much explains itself, doesn’t it? It looks exactly the same as the recently-introduced 3-door variant, except this has a whole new section consisting of proper, full-size rear doors. The new Mini save the rear passengers from discomfort and the driver from some verbal abuse – for the inconvenience, and also adds 161mm – which is a fair stretch – to it’s length.72of those 161millimetres have gone into increasing legroom at the back, and Mini has kindly fitted a headrest to the centre of the rear seat back, though with that ginormous centre tunnel, the unlucky chap in the middle would have to sit with his legs in his co-passengers’ pants. There’s also 67litres of added boot space over the mini-est Mini, so you can also put your dog back there, underneath the shopping bags. There are a total of four engine options - a brace of three-cylinder petrol and diesel motors, as well as a couple of petrol and diesel four-pots. A six-speed manual can be had, and a six-speed auto is on offer as well.Still, we’re perplexed. The Clubman used to be the practical Mini earlier, and we know that a new one’s on the way. Like the Paceman, which is a coupe version of a bloated Mini which used to be a coupe, Mini may just toss yet nother five-door bodystyle our way and enjoy the confused look on our faces.
